Objective
  • To understand the fundamentals in diagnostic and therapeutic hysteroscopy
  • Perform hands-on skills in basic operative hysteroscopy
Description
This workshop will be a combination of lectures and practical stations. The lectures will provide comprehensive coverage on pre-operative planning, management of complications and relevant anatomy for hysteroscopic surgery. This will be followed by practical stations where you will practice navigation, hand-eye coordination, and also have a chance to perform tissue removal using simple forceps, morcellation and electrosurgery.

vNOTES (vaginal natural orifice transluminal endoscopic surgery) heralds the new era in vaginal surgery. The latest access platforms enable access into the peritoneal cavity through the vagina, effectively combining the benefits of laparoscopic and traditional vaginal surgery

Objective
  • Understand the fundamentals of vNOTES surgery.
  • Learn the latest surgical techniques and tools from local & international experts.
  • Enhance skills in minimally invasive procedures.
  • Improve patient outcomes through Advanced Vaginal Access Techniques(AVAT).

Description

This workshop is designed for gynaecologic surgeons actively practicing Gynaeendoscopy & MIS, who are interested in learning more about vNOTES and how this can be applied to their practice.

Delegates will gain an introductory understanding of vNOTES procedural steps, instrumentation and discuss application in their current surgical practice. The workshop will include lectures plus hands-on practicum with expert guidance and feedback. In order to maximise teaching, this workshop is limited to only 10 participants
