Prof. De Rosa’s areas of special interest include: epidemiology of bacterial and fungal infections; antimicrobial stewardship; infections in critical and immunocompromised hosts; diagnostic and treatment strategies of invasive fungal infections; infective endocarditis; pneumonia; nosocomial infections; pharmacology of antibiotics and antifungal in special hosts; microbiome in critically ill patients; hepatitis C virus (HCV) infection; acute hepatitis C and HCVassociated mixed cryoglobulinemia.
