General Information
- All presenters of abstracts must register for the conference.
- All abstracts must be in English
- Each abstract is limited to 300 words, excluding the presenter information and title.
- Submitting authors must ensure that all listed co-authors have reviewed the abstract, take responsibility for its content, and consent to being listed as co-authors.
- All potential conflicts of interest must be declared.
- By submitting an abstract, the author(s) agree to transfer all copyrights to the 2nd Asia-Pacific Conference on Zoonotic and Neglected Tropical Diseases and permit the publication of the submitted information on the APCZNTD websites, Programme book, and Conference Mobile App.
Submission of Abstracts
- Abstracts must be submitted through the abstract submission system on the APCZNTD webpage. Simply click the “Abstracts Submission” tab on the front page. Submissions via email will not be accepted.
- Abstracts must be submitted on or before 30 April 2025
- Notice of acceptance/rejection will be emailed to all presenters by the end of June 2025
Review of Abstracts
- All abstracts will undergo a review process conducted by our team of reviewers. The reviewers will be “blinded” to the identities of the authors to ensure impartiality.
- Abstracts will only be reviewed after the Scientific Committee is given proof of payment of Registration fees.
- Only the submitting authors will be notified of acceptance or rejection. It is their responsibility to inform the co-authors of the Scientific Committee's decision.
- Instructions will be sent to the authors whose abstracts are accepted for oral or poster presentations
- Decisions of the Scientific Committee are final.

Abstracts should be submitted under one of the following themes.

I) | Other Neglected Tropical Diseases |
Abstract Presentation Categories
Abstracts may be accepted into one of two categories. The presenter of any accepted abstract must be one of the co-authors listed on the original submission
Oral Presentation
- Abstracts with high score will be selected for oral presentations.
- The presenting author will be required to make a 15-minute PowerPoint presentation that concisely summarizes the research question, methods used, the results, and their significance.
- Prizes will be awarded for the Best Oral Presentations and the runner-ups
Poster Presentation
- The presenting author is required to present their poster during the moderated poster session at the conference.
- Authors will be notified of the date and time for their presentation.
- Prizes will be awarded for the Best Poster Presentations and the runner-ups
